The trout farm itself is nice. R60 entrance fee as of March 2013. Cant bring your own alcohol but they are fully licensed. Kid friendly and you can hire rods, etc. You can also bring your stuff to braai. NOTE: THE LOCATION ON GOOGLE MAPS IS INCORRECT. The directions will take you to a house in near Olivedale! Footloose Trout farm is actually, directly opposite Diepsloot Mall. Take William Nicol and drive down all the way, until you come to the Diepsloot Mall. Directly opposite will be the right turn down a dirt road to the trout Farm ( Approx. 7km from the Indaba Hotel)

Google Maps has the location wrong. Garmin has it right - just opposite Diepsloot mall, off on Ridge road (dirt road) about 1.5km off R511 going east on Ridge. Coming from the N14 drive past Diepsloot township. Lots of taxis and street vendors on the R511 past Diepsloot. Venue is old and some areas dilapidated. Must have been a great place 8+ years ago. Facilities seem to need an upgrade and some TLC. Not very busy. Friendly service with rods and bait for hire. We caught 3 trout in 30 minutes. Staff cleaned the fish for us. R96 per kg. R45 entrance for kids 3 and up. R60 adults. All and all an expensive outing for the family. The kids enjoyed the fishing, though.

Fabulous fresh flower shop. Staff will put any combination together and gift wrap. been using it for years. Also great for fresh fruit - especially if buying by the case - and vegetables.
